Garrett Smith bought his first house at 18, and by the time he graduated college with degrees in Finance and Marketing, he owned seven houses. After joining the Army National Guard and working in finance for a general contractor for several years, he went full-time into real estate at 26, amassing 25 homes and expanding into larger multi-unit properties.

Today, Garrett is the visionary behind Vertical Equity Group, specializing in transforming underperforming mobile home parks into thriving communities. With 450 units under management and a goal to reach 800+ by the end of 2024, Garrett’s passion and commitment are evident.

Garrett’s family is his anchor. He balances his professional ambitions with quality time with his kids, ensuring he's present for every important moment. A family man who loves mobile home parks, Garrett is dedicated to creating affordable, quality housing while building a legacy for his family and community while providing risk adjusted returns for his investors.

Glenn Yaney

Co-Founder & COO

Glenn Yaney is the driving force behind our real estate investment firm, with over a decade of industry experience. Starting as a server at Red Lobster, Glenn transitioned to real estate in 2012, quickly excelling by filling five leases per week and earning $15,000 in his first month. Over the next ten years, he managed 100 listings and 30 leases per month, eventually overseeing operations for Florida with 350 houses and a team of 15 employees.

In 2014, Glenn began his investment journey, starting with a condo and expanding to multi-unit properties, achieving financial independence. Partnering with Garrett, an expert in construction and finance, they co-founded the firm, syndicating a 25-unit apartment and a 50-unit mobile home community, growing their portfolio to over 450 units.

Glenn's leadership and innovative property management have positioned the firm for significant growth, focusing on expanding their portfolio to over 500 units in the next year.
